I recently reached 1,000 Fashionable Friends, which I owe all to you!!!

I never would have imagined that the evening I did a search for online journals, came across a blog site named Blogspot, and signed up, that it would turn into what this blog is today!

I didn't know anything about blogging when I began, I'm not even sure I knew what the word blog meant! I only tried it because I enjoyed writing, sharing, creativity and fashion, but mostly putting together looks that didn't cost a lot. Mostly because I noticed that I always gained the most compliments on affordable items.

I honestly never expected anyone to follow along, or was that why I began. I simply ended up jumping on the blogging train for myself when it was just beginning, and am so glad I too that leap that night.

I still remember one of my first followers, and not believing that someone was interested in what I posted! Her name was Anna, Anna Saccone from Ireland, and since that day, she and I have become friends, though we have not yet met in person.

She has been so supportive since day one, and I could not be more thrilled with all of her success and just how far her journey has taken her! In that time, she moved, got engaged, married, her dogs had puppies and she is now pregnant with a little girl! As well as created quite a successful beauty channel TheStyleDiet and daily blog channel TheSacconeJolys with her witty, kind, happy and full of personality husband Jonathan aka Jofus on YouTube! :)

Needless to say, this blog has become a true passion of mine, and I have met so many people from around the world in blogland, as I refer to it, whom I now consider friends! All of your support has been nothing short of positive, encouraging and straight up kind and inspiring!

Therefore, I wanted to do something for all of you to say, "Thank You!!!"

So, I went out and purchased a variety of things that I myself would enjoy or do enjoy currently, but instead of keeping these for myself, I'm giving all of you an opportunity to win them in this giveaway! Yay! :)

I started blogging about beauty since April but I was using Weebly as my blog's platform back then. I have so little readership and I do not know anyone in the blogging community but my blogger friend from the US, Celine of Fashiometics.Wordpress.com. She is actually the one who pushed me to start blogging. The first blogger she introduced to me was the epic Temptalia and then I got hooked.

Around May of 2011, Celine transferred her blog from Weebly to Wordpress and then that's when Kai (KaiSensei.blogspot.com) and Jen (ShopgirlJen.blogspot.com) discovered my blog and convinced me to transfer it to Blogger by June. These girls were actually my first blogger friends. We would constantly tweet each other along with Earth (Earthlingorgeous.com), Sire (SireArevalo.com) and Daily Fashionista (DailyFashionistaManila.com). That's when it all started.

I attended one event after the other, was sponsored with some stuff for review purpose and met more blogger friends. For me, having blogger friends is actually one of the most amazing part of blogging. There's just too many of them to mention (my blogger friends) and I might forget someone so I won't be posting their names anymore. They know who they are. Thank you so much, guys, for making my blogging life awesome. *Cyber Hugs*
